Its a nice place and some of the staff are very kind and patient and super helpful. They have a great variety of things to satisfy a lot of different interests. Was pleased that they had drinks you could enjoy during the experience. I had a really great time and im not a super creative person. Just want to warn anybody doing one of the options with the setting gel....pieces may shift when drying. The final end product was a bit disappointing...see before and after photos included. Try the place out and have fun; just be careful if you choose this type of project. Maybe choose heavier pieces or place the pieces much closer together.

Edited: i was told that this is super rare and the crew did their best to fix it for me without being asked; very thoughtful and sweet. They were very understanding and patient. Please dont let this deter you from going. Ill be going back to try out the candle making for sure!

Just a casual visit with my granddaughter, plesent crafting, and painting. Lots of items to add color and style to your desire.
Amy the owner is quite the entertaining host for Adult and Children's groups.
Stop on for a tour and pick out something to personalize.

Super cute local business! You just walk in and grab a pottery piece of the shelf and start painting. There are a lot of different colors you can paint with, and you can pick up the piece later once it has been glazed by staff! Highly recommend if you are in the area.

The girls and I had a great time with the artist. We hosted a bachelorette art'ini event and I highly recommend for anyone who wants to do group events here. Only thing is make sure to call and make a request online. They have different hours during the week vs the weekend.

Had a fun time but never received our pieces we made. After emailing and calling multiple times we finally gave up. I wanted to call again for a refund months ago but my fiance told me to let it go... we communicated to the owner we'd be leaving town and gave her the address to send it too and she said the post office sent it back but then never followed up again with us. Extremely disappointed and was so excited for our pendants we made that we never got. We also had scheduled for another date night art class and had to cancel because of food poisoning and the girl said she would let the owner know and never heard back, didn't get refunded and was left paying anyways. So twice wasted money for nothing.

This wonderful GEM in the heart of Galveston really needs some kudos! I found it on Google during a rainy day while trying to decide on something special to do with my granddaughters! It was like finding a treasure! So many options for really fun arts and crafts! An open air relaxing environment with so many choices! The most incredibly affordable interactive entertainment in Galveston. The granddaughters loved it ❤ perfect for all ages!!! I was shocked when it was time to pay at the affordable price for such great entertainment, atmosphere, and music as well as refreshments for all ages! I was able to leave a great tip for the impeccable customer service we received!!! Really 20+ stars for this wonderful place! You can also thank the owner of studio for making the Turtles around Town that have brightened and beautified this island! As a local here on the island I'm so grateful to have places like this to add to my memories with family!!!

Took my mom and sister here for a last minute outing. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. They have lots of other classes,
ceramic painting and even glass items you can make. Definitely a place to check out!

My cousins and I try to do a girls night once a month and we go to Clay Cup Studios!! It’s always a fun pleasant time! Amy is always fantastic and helpful!!

Today was our first visit to Clay Cup and I wasn't sure what to expect. Wow - what a great place! They offer the chance to create many kinds of art. Some projects have to be left with the studio for kiln firing, but many are make it and take it on the same day! We will be back on our next trip to Galveston!

Definitely enjoyed my first time at Clay Cup Studio. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very patient with me. Nice place to relax and get creative. Prices are very reasonable. (Large Candle and two drinks-$45) Just as a heads up, if you want to do candle making, please account for the hardening process, which takes about an hour. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my experience. Looking forward to my next visit.

Came here with a group of 7 UTMB medical students as a social outing for a scholars program. Amy, the owner, immediately greeted us and was accommodating when some of our classmates flaked (Gen Z, am I right?). We decided to do the medium-sized glass bowls and had a blast. We sat at a long table that could seat at least 10 as we chose our different colors and cuts. Two other large groups were in the studio and even added to the lively ambiance. Amy walked us through the process and then checked on us intermittently to make sure the process was going okay. We had a lot of fun doing something crafty with each other and would highly recommend it for a work outing or large group social.

My only regret is not getting a beer or two while we had the chance! Didn't realize until late that they offered drinks as well.

My bowl was ready a few weeks after. And yes, I know it looks like a Turkey.
