Local artists. Wide ranging styles. And they are actually there to talk about their art if you have questions.All volunteer nonprofit gallery.Art classes, would do them all if I was in town.Great place during Art Walk.Wish they had more art.

Great spot to see art and photography by local artists. There's always someone there - usually one of the artists - who can answer questions and tell you more about Art League and the participating artists. Check their website for info and events.

I felt immediate calm as I stepped inside the gallery. There is a peace in this space that lends itself to browsing at one’s leisure. The art is beautiful, and in various styles, to please all tastes. Upon entering, one is welcomed warmly, and invited to wander the gallery at will.

What a great gallery! They’ve recently expanded and give space justice to art unlike many others in Galveston. It’s also a volunteer staffed member organization, with membership and entry fees alike being very affordable.From photography to missed media, oils, acrylics, pencil and stunning jewelry this place is a gem of a find.Three juried shows a year and new art every month! Go check it out!!!

Great organization to be part of, founded in 1914 and all non-profit and all volunteers to keep open, running, showing art by local artists and selling art to the public to help support. Drop by the Galveston Art League on Post Office Thurs thru Sunday, weekly!
