I just wanted to take a moment to thank Captain Shane for an incredible fishing experience we had. The boat was very clean, and Shane was exceptional throughout our trip. My son is quite the inquisitive one, always asking a ton of questions, and Shane handled him with such patience and expertise.

We were thrilled to be on redfish just minutes after arriving at the spot, and my son had a blast! We are definitely looking forward to booking with you again in the future, and hopefully, we can convince my wife to join us next time.

Thank you once more for making such wonderful memories for us!

We booked the shark fishing tour and what an awesome experience that was! Our guides, Capt Zach and Austin were great. We caught several fish to bring home including a 68 inch spinner shark. Highly recommend!

What an awesome experience! Capt Shane is First Class. The weather blew in right as We were leaving the Marina, Capt Shane advised Us of the weather and that He believed that We could avoid most of the storms once We pasted the Jetties. He gave Us the option and let us know He had no problem rescheduling, if We didn't feel comfortable going. Our party chose to take the chance and go, We are all so happy to have made that decision. Was a little rough getting out but once We cleared the jetties it calmed down just like Capt Shane said and in no time We were on location, fishing and hooked up with the very first line in the water. Huge shout out to the deck hand/first mate Austin He was there helping every second making sure We had bait and removing fish or anything else anyone might need. We caught our limit of Red snapper and fished for other species before heading back in and doing some trolling on the way. Couldn't of asked for a better experience, Shane and Austin are a great team and I definitely recommend going with Galveston Sea Ventures! Will be going back with them again in the future.

First of all my expectations were set way to high for this experience.
We did in fact see several dolphins at a long distance. They appeared black or dark gray and you could see them, just not upclose, which I guess is what we were expecting. On the other hand our Captain had a sense of humor and was engaging with us and was knowledgeable and friendly. He had music playing in the back ground and we had a great time despite the rain cloud that got us lol. Thank you for a memorable family experience 🙂

Capt Shane put us right on the Red Snapper and we caught our limit. Great boat that handled rough water really well!

Capt Shane was awesome. Weather was tough but we found fish early and often. Limit of Red Snapper within 2 hrs with 100+ throw backs. First class experience and something we will be doing again.

Captain Shane made my son’s dreams come true by putting him and his buddies on shark after shark for my son’s 10th birthday. My son is already insist we will be back next year!

We booked a sunset cruise for a bachelorette party and it was great! Captain Shane was lots of fun and knew where to spot the dolphins. We were able to bring drinks on the boat and just hang out with music playing. Would definitely book it again!

My husband and son went out with Captain Shane last year and had such a great experience they came back again this year and brought my dad and a friend. All four of them had a great time. They caught a variety of fish and a couple reds that were super big and will make a fantastic feast. They also saw dolphins and a sea turtle, so it turned out to be a great combo of fishing and wildlife adventure.

Me and my family did the 4 hour jetty bay fishing and it was amazing. We caught many red drums a black drum as well as some sheepshead and saw some dolphins as well. Had a very good experience with Richard and Adrian they were very nice and very helpful. I would definitely book them again. I loved it

Can't say enough how thrilled we were with our 1 hr dolphin tour. We saw so many dolphins. We took our two grandchildren,1 and 3 and the 3 yr old was so excited to see them and my grandson loved yelling at all the seagalls. It truly was more than worth the time and money. Definitely would recommend

We did a sunset tour with Captain Shane and were more than pleased. He was personable and knowledgeable, able to answer our groups numerous questions. We saw several different pods of dolphins and enjoyed a fantastic cruise. We had a group with young children and it was a great choice for our mixed age group. We loved it and would recommend anyone interested book one of their cruise options, no second guessing needed!

Capt.Shane was the best guide I’ve ever used. He put us on the fish and gave use a fantastic fishing adventure! He has top of the line electronics and good gear. You never had to wait on anything, the deckhand had you fish off and hook baited instantly. Great guide service! I’ll use Shane every time I come to Galveston.

Captain Shane was great and boat was immaculate! Best boat I’ve been on in all the years I’ve taken private boat trips. Captain Shane put us on fish spot after spot and we had an amazing time. Caught MASSIVE Red Snapper and even a Blacktip Shark. Will definitely be back to ride out with Capt Shane and Galveston Sea Ventures again.

Shane was a blast, safe friendly and Lots of fun!!! I think this is a great trip for friends and family!!! It was our first and it was lots of fun!! I wish I would of did a longer one !!! Jackson was the deckhand and we never got our hands dirty much he hooked all the bait he kept busy and worked hard for the entire trip!! Shane cut our fish so clean n nice ! I would do it again n again !!! Shane was super safe and great with the sharks we caught!!! He was a great captain!!! I was referred to his trip & now I will be referring him to others !!!!! I also thought it was super amazing that he took his time out and took us on a very special day… he took us out on Father’s Day when he could of spent time w His own family and friends and dad !!!! That’s a major selfless part of owning a business and we grateful appreciated it!!! Thanks Shane & Jackson

The guys absolutely loved the fishing trip. They got along well with Captain Shane and deckhand. Both were very professional and knowledgeable about areas to go to in the Bay. I have to mention I booked with Captain Shane very last minute because another charter was not able to accommodate my already planned and partially paid trip due to motor issues(which is a common reason given). Thank Captain Shane for taking my guys and dad out last minute. FYI mornings are preferable and recommended during the summer months.
