The ocean view was absolutely beautiful — such a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. We had Caesar salad, chicken pasta, steak, lasagna, calamari, and spaghetti, and everything was delicious. The staff was kind and attentive. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a nice meal with a great view in Galveston!

We had the special which was fried chicken, spaghetti , salad and dessert. Price was impressively lower than what I have paid at other places similar, and the food tasted like home made grandma food. Absolutely delicious.

Oscar the server and Brandy the manager were amazing! Oscar told me the special which I had to get!! 10/10 recommend coming here. Service, quality, and cleanliness were great.

Disappointed. Food wasnt a 4.7 as rated. If rate it a 4 given the price. I think my spaghetti w Rao sauce tastes better. We did purchase the dinner for 2 which is worth the value. You can easily feed 3 with that meal. Not terrible but rather spend my hard earned money somewhere else.

Freaking delicious, had the Fried chicken and Bolognese special they serve every Sunday and Monday for 44.95 for Two. Amazing deal, will actually feed 4 ppl. we live here on island and will be regulars. Do yourself a favor and go!

Amazing place to dine for anniversary or birthdays. We had an amazing dinner. We didn't get appetizers because we knew the entrée were pretty big according to reviews, but it was my husband's birthday and our anniversary, and we wanted room for dessert. It was reasonably priced, and our waiter was amazing. Had a great time. Would go again and again.

After two days of failed attempts to find a "good" restaurant in Galveston, I stumbled on a gold mine. Really, really good food. Excellent unpretentious wait staff, fresh food and ingredients, a stellar wine list, wrapped in a 1940s dinner club atmosphere. Transport yourself to a finer time in a quality restaurant and at discounted prices! An exceptional experience. Ask for Liz. She went above and beyond!

We stayed at the San Luis and came here for dinner 3 times. First on Monday they offer a family special. Bowl of Salad, spaghetti bolognese, fried chicken(best fried chicken I’ve ever had), choice of dessert (cheesecake or chocolate mousse cake) for $38. It’s enough to feed 3 adults comfortably possibly 4. Insane value for the quality of food you get.

The next night I ordered pepperoni pizza. It was incredible and the last night I got the chicken Luis. Great as well.

If you have room for dessert, the tiramisu is good and the butter cake is even better.

Give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Loved that they serve fresh bread with oil. For Appetizers we had Mozzarella in Padrlla (3" fried sliced mozzarella) and the Calamari. Both were extremely bland we used the seasoned oils from the bread to try and save. For main courses we had the Chicken Bianca Pizza and Chicken Luis. The entrees were both very delicious.
Service was good and the atmosphere was nice.
