Tried Saltwater Grill for dinner while in Galveston. I enjoyed their gumbo, and I shared their blackened redfish entree with my wife. The food was fresh and tasted great. Our waiter was outstanding and ensured our experience was wonderful.

Shared fresh oysters on the half shell for an appetizer - heaven! Had the fresh sea scallops for the main course. The scallops were cooked PERFECTLY & the vegetables & fingerling potatoes were fresh & tasty. You could not ask for a better meal & service. The wine & and after dinner cappuccinos finished it off. Thank you Saltwater Grill!

Back again. Just lovely. Snapper is marvelous. Best raw outers Round.Old Review. Definitely a great place to eat. Very convenient to Opera House. The bread they serve is excellent. I am not a catfish lover but their BBQ Catfish and Grits is really good. The lobster tacos are very tasty.

Came in for a cruise and someone local recommended us to come here for a good steak! And they did not disappoint! Delicious!! So glad we came!

Saltwater Grill is a fun and local Galveston restaurant. My family is making it a tradition to visit every Christmas Eve because we love the great food and the fish is a nice departure from the normal holiday ham.We had no wait since we made a reservation!We always order the lava cake, and last year the kitchen broke it before it got to our table so they comped it for us and made us another, and this year it came out completely burnt on the bottom and with no “lava.” They comped the cakes since we couldn’t eat them but didn’t offer any replacement dessert despite the fact that we waited 25 minutes for the cakes to come out. Kind of a bummer but definitely didn’t ruin the experience.We still love this restaurant and will probably be back next year, but we might skip out on the lava cakes next time since our track record is so poor.My sister and I shared the Penne pasta w shrimp and my parents got fish. Loved it!

If you were looking for an upscale dinner experience on Galveston Island I recommend the Saltwater Grill.Each of our dishes was prepared just right and delicious. The fish is definitely a specialty of theirs and that also includes their shrimp and crawfish appetizer.To cap it all off, our waiter, David, was an absolute joy. He not only kept us entertained through the whole meal, but also made sure everything that we needed was taken care of.

Had an excellent dining experience. Food was was outstanding. The restaurant very inviting. Service was excellent. The fondue was flavorful. Lobster bisque was delicious. Our server Gabriela made our visit fun and welcoming, excellent service. Will make it regular stop when in Galveston.
