Didn't think much of the space when I first walked in the door but decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did.

Wellfleet - Cape Cod oysters, Ipswich and Maine oyster is the latest culinary trend going across the country. I see them on menu everywhere I go when I travel. Since I'm from this area I never really think much of it. Got the Wellfleet oysters and others and they were absolutely fantastic - like I was at a local bar on Cape Cod.

Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the product they were serving. Service was fast and efficient.

My husband loved his oysters but for me the highlight were the mussels. The best mussels I have ever had.

This was my first time visiting and WOWWWWWW. Being from Louisiana, I’m skeptical trying out seafood restaurants; however, I’m so glad that I came here. The food was Fantastic and FRESH! I was expecting a place that was a little bigger but the Food and Service was so good that it didn’t matter. It’s quaint and cozy. 10/10! Highly recommend!!

Came for fried oysters, biggest order was 7 oysters. They were tiny little oysters, but came with a big oyster price tag.

This place is amazing. We had the oyster sampler and they were they best oysters!!! I had the steak and shrimp plate and my wife had the fried softshell crab plate. Both were really good. The steak was over the top with flavor!! We both said it was the best meal we had during our trip to Galveston.

I stopped by here for a quick bite before I started my drive back home. I had the mussels and a mocktail. Vero (older woman with long grey hair) slammed my drink on my table, gave me a jacket because “I barely had any clothes on”, then once it was time for me to pay, she never came back to my table.

The food was great, but the service from her was terrible. A young man attended me who gave me much better service. Unfortunately, I will not be back where I’m not welcomed.

What a great first experience here! The tuna appetizer was incredible- I've been dreaming about it since we left. It was honestly one of the best foods I've eaten. We had a shrimp app too and I stole a few cucumbers from it and topped the tuna. My friends had oysters and loved them. The fun drinks were tasty. Can't wait to go back!

Came down for a little weekend get away and landed on this staple. First off the atmosphere is great. The waiters and bartenders are all friendly and fun. As for the food it was amazing, the oysters were fresh and came perfectly shucked, the ceviche (forgot to take a picture) was super yummy, and the lobsters roll was delicious with a healthy amount of lobster meat and not too much sauce. Definitely will come back again!

The perfect place for a GREAT meal and AWESOME service! Ask for Tiffany! She’ll have you feeling like family in no time! Recommend the fabulous gumbo and a Paige-Tini. The triple chocolate cheesecake is absolutely sinful!!!

I loved the chill vibe, we went midday on Wednesday and it was quiet, love the bossa nova covers playing.

Great service, wonderful oysters. Baked oysters were phenomenal get the sampler!

OMG, I've eaten at so many seafood restaurants back home in NYC, Puerto Rico, Florida, and all over the US. This place serves THE BEST mussels! The grilled oysters were also amazing! The bread was perfect as well. Music and ambiance were just right. Wish I went to this place earlier. The staff were so cool and personable.

Update: 2/9/2025 We came back during oyster season and got Mermaid Tears. Probably the best oysters I've ever had. We tried the seafood gumbo which was delicious!
10/2024 Very clean and classy place for food and drinks. Raw gulf oysters were not available for safety, but they had some Old Salt from VA that were delicious. We had beer, Ranch Water and Palomas...all great. The Key Lime pie for dessert was amazing.

Super fun place near the strand. We went here for a random lunch date and ended up talking about how we plan to come back for brunch and to try everything on the menu next time we come back to Galveston (every few months)
I love East Coast oysters, in which they bring in year round. I also love a gulf oyster being from clear lake, and tried this type called Angel Tear and they were wonderful! Highly recommend.
Cocktails are fun, but the lobster roll we split looked like it was served on a loaf of buttered bread, with a generous amount of lobster meat. It was so generous I saw a whole chunk of claw meat and got excited. It was a great lunch idea after touring some of the historic homes.
The atmosphere is wonderful, it’s classy, nautical, half bar, half high tops. We don’t want your kids here please.
Drink your coffee and espresso before coming here for brunch, and enjoy the cocktails and raw/ Rockefeller oysters.
We will be back for brunch. 🙏🏽❤️
