Southern Spears offers lessons and rentals that will get you and your sweetheart out in the sun and having a ton of fun. You and your sweetheart can take a surf or paddle board lesson to learn the basics. Already got the hang of things? Rent a surfboard, paddle board, or skim board and get out there and have some fun together.

We always rent our boards here. The staff is always very knowledgeable about the area and where to find the waves.

I can not say enough GREAT things about Southern Spears Surf Shop! They have the cutest clothes, swimsuits and fun souviners. If you're like me and you never want your vacation to end, then HIGHLY recommend their Endless Summer candle wax melts, perfume and other items. I have my wax melts on DAILY at my house and it always reminds me of Summer. Jen and Judd, the owners are THE nicest people to deal with and goes above and beyond for us. Highly recommend visiting their surf shop. You dont have to be a surfer to be a shopper :-)

Great shop on the island. I have bought quite a few items there; jewelry, tshirts, purses, sunglasses, etc. All items were of very high quality! The owner is super helpful, not just of her shop but whatever your needs are on the island! I especially liked shopping local and getting to know the owner! I will be back in, soon!

Been a customer since it originally opened. Jen has taken amazing care of us and has helped my family get outfitted with surfboards and everything that goes with them. My wife has never NOT bought clothes when we stop in. She even has gear for my toddlers. 10/10 recommend to anyone shopping on the island.

I loved this shop! They have a great selection of swimsuits (including board shorts for women and men) , surfing supplies, t shirts, dakine bags, and Pura vida jewelery. The owner, Jennifer ,was so helpful and knowledgeable of the inventory. Will definitely be back here !
