When it comes to hospitality in Galveston, San Luis does it the best, and that includes the restaurants inside.

This place is fancy schmancy but the food is pretty bleh. Had the chicken and waffles and there just wasn’t much taste. The whiskey infused syrup tasted a lot like syrup and the honey something butter tasted a lot like butter. They even described the blackberries which turned out to be two. Overall, food was fine but quite expensive. Atmosphere is lovely. Don’t think we will be coming back.

As I was out sightseeing on Galveston I found Blake’s. It’s in the San Luis resort which is a really nice place. But don’t let that stop you from trying it out. The burger meal that I got was only $20. Less than I thought it would be for such a nice place.I also walked around the pool and discovered they were making complementary s’mores. SCORE!

This restaurant was very very good! We have ate here every day since staying at the San Luis. Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked, service was great, and it had a pretty view of the pool area! Definitely recommend !! 10/10
