Staff is super kind and let us finish our beers we just bought, not realizing it was closing time. Fun cozy feeling and excellent taps! Darts, shuffleboard,tons or boards gamea, snacks, and of course several tv's with sports. Very roomy too! Our favorite tap was, 'For Whom the Belgiam Tolls.' Delicious mild Amber-to die for!

I used to work at a brewery and have tried 100s of different kinds of beer in my life and the ones here are superb. I returned on April-17 2026 and I am happy to report still a great place with great beer. The lady serving us beer was very friendly and nice. Great job Naked Iguana!!!!!!!

We were visiting Galveston from Iowa and stumbled upon this amazing brewery! Mike and Matt were extremely accommodating as they hooked us up with some great brews and some sweet Naked Iguana merchandise. We’ll definitely be back anytime we’re in the area! Highly recommend!

Very friendly service. Visited on a mild Sunday afternoon in February and I loved the light green painted wooden tables in the "outdoor" area. It blends in with the Naked Iguana logo and colors. Even the exterior by the main door is partially green and is welcoming. As soon as you walk in, there are two casual sofa areas (one in each corner) that look comforting - I mention this because you cant say that about most breweries since most of them dont have any sofas at all. As far as the brews go, I like the variety of beer types. I enjoyed the Winter Texan (stout) and the Loch Ness Iggy (scottish ale) the most. Their seltzers are also good. I'm accustomed to colorless seltzers, however, the ones I tried (Drunken Campfire, Red Velvet Cake) were colored.

We came here for the beers and left disappointed. That said, the staff and patrons were super friendly! Both of us had a flight of 4 and were unimpressed. For a brewery with such great reviews and “best of” we had high expectations. If I could give it a 5 ⭐️rating based on staff, I would. However, if the 8 beers we tried, we liked two—not loved, but liked.
The staff were absolutely lovely and very attentive (we believe the owner helped us even through she had been talking about going to lunch for 45 minutes) and had such a family atmosphere, the beer left us wanting. I wanted the G-town Brown to have a nuttier flavor and the butter pecan seltzer to have a lingering flavor on the palate rather than just a sweet hit. I will say that the Bombshell Blond was fantastic and I could drink it all day—highly recommend!
One of the positive things I will say is that it seems to be a local favorite hangout. All the patrons seemed to be friends and it was like a real life Cheers bar. That, my friends, is worth its weight in gold!!

Let’s be honest here……. This place is absolutely wonderful! Listen, I came to this place two nights in a row! I was staying in Galveston over the Thanksgiving weekend and wanted to try some local beer in town so I did some research. I saw this place and said let’s give it a try I am so glad I did! The beer here is very delicious the ingredients they use very fresh. Everything was well balanced nothing over the top and my taste expectations were definitely there,my suggestions (Bolivar Beacon & skinny mini). And let’s talk about the customer service the workers there are extremely helpful and very nice they welcome everybody in, they don’t mind letting you try a little samples to actually pinpoint what you may like. They have complementary popcorn, a few games to play plenty of space, dog friendly, which is a huge plus, the establishment itself is very clean although this is a brewery this place for me gives pub/bar vibes and I kind of like that. All I’m saying is when I’m in Galveston I’m definitely making a stop here every time and if you’re in town and you like beer, definitely stop here and have one or two you’ll enjoy it 🍻

Great beer and wine selection. Super cute. There's an indoor taproom and outdoor picnic area that's still covered to give you shade from the heat but still perfect for people watching locally on the strand. Both are so intricately decorated decorated and so chic to make it more than just a brewery. The best part? The entire place is pet and kid friendly. There are games to play around the bar and tables and the staff are all helpful and friendly. It's a great place to hangout! Perfect cozy yet open vibe.

amazing atmosphere, and i absolutely love the beer here. got the hazy ipa and standard ipa, and got jalapeño poppers from the place across the street. had a lovely time and would highly recommend this place for anyone considering going here!

Always a destination for us when visiting Galveston Island! Richard and Tracy are great people and always around for a corny dad joke or smile! Beers always on point...love the latest Kolsch! Don't miss this great spot!

Fantastic brewery experience, the staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable of all of their beers helping me make my next choice with each recommendation. Very cozy atmosphere and delicious food from the coastal grill across the street. Naked iguana is a must see when in the Galveston area.

Great local, little brewery, with a wide range of flavors from IPAs (a few on tap) to smoked and barrel-aged beers. Normal craft-beer prices. Merch is ok, but nothing exceptional. Easy collaboration with the restaurant across the street. Gets packed, which gets loud.

Love, love, love this cozy brewery! Staff is awesomely friendly, atmosphere is excellent, as every craft brewery should be! Owners are friendly, welcoming and so funny! You can have great conversations with them, while enjoying their incredible variety of craft beer! I recommend doing the super flight so you can try them all, and choose your favorite for your next pint... or pints! This has become one of our absolute go-to's in Galveston,

This is a great new brewery! They have a huge selection of beers that are all made on site. My wife and I split an 8 count flight and liked most of the brews on there. There’s plenty of space to sit. They also had free pop corn and will give away 3D printed iguana toys to the kids. Stop by when you’re in the area, you won’t be disappointed!
