    This place deserves 10 stars!!!
Decided to take an impromptu three day self-care weekend trip to Galveston from Houston. Coppersmith Inn did not disappoint for relaxation, great food, great conversation and a cozy room to rest my tired over-worked brain. Chef Renee greeted me at the door on Friday at check-in. She asked if I would like a tour, of course I said yes to knowing the history of the beautiful home. I met her husband Robert and their sweet and happy dog Dexter. They were getting ready for an event they were throwing on Sunday night so it was a quick hello. We toured and talked, she showed me my room upstairs, The Rose Room, and let me know they live on site if anything was needed. The room and amenities were perfect! The bed and pillows were the right softness, a binder of the history of the home and the owners sat next to the tv, there was a small couch and chair near the windows. The room was small but didn't feel crowded. The bathroom had a full set of amenities, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, extra towels and two robes to use if needed. I settled in then went downstairs to look around before venturing out for the evening. It was a very comfortable and cozy atmosphere almost like being at home. The next morning at 9:00am a delicious and filling breakfast was served. Prosciutto omelet with hashbrowns, two small like sausages and a small bowl of yogurt with fruit. Along with coffee and orange juice for your liking. They also played some soft music during breakfast which was a pleasant surprise. After breakfast I sat in the parlor to crochet for a couple of hours and take in peace while Renee and Robert continued to cook and get things ready for their event. We chatted a little and it was wonderful to get to know more about them and their love for the culinary arts and owning an B&B. Their dog Dexter visited me to get 'pets' several times and I definitely enjoyed his company.

Sunday morning breakfast was another delicious and filling one. Blueberry pancakes, hash brown potatoes, a sausage patty, eggs and fruit...along with coffee and orange juice.

Renee and Robert did an excellent job with making their guests feel at home and serve them a comforting breakfast before the day's adventures. I will absolutely stay here again!

I absolutely loved this BnB. Renee and hubby were wonderful. The service was top notch! The breakfast ever morning was appropriately portioned and tasted amazing, you can tell she was a Chef! I loved chatting with Renee and the other people staying there. The house is beautiful, take the tour! The private small pool in the backyard was so relaxing and the granite bottom felt so good on my feet. I appreciated her allowing smoking in certain areas. The only reason I didn't give all 5's is because the bed squeaked. But everything else was amazing!!!

Wow! I was so impressed with Renee and the entire place. The breakfast was better than any other restaurant in town! The view, conveniently located establishment was amazing! It is close to the beach and downtown Galveston. We celebrated our 30 year wedding anniversary with class and elegance, but with modern amenities. I give it two thumbs 👍🏾 👍🏾 way up!

This was one of our greatest experiences traveling. The inn itself is elegant and the rooms were fantastic. Both comfortable and beautiful.
The breakfasts were the best my wife and I ever had. Not simple menu food but fine cuisine.
The propietors were absolutely outstanding. They are two of the most kindest and caring people I have ever met. They went above and beyond providing their services.
I highly recommend this establishment and know it and the owners will provide a wonderful and memorable experience.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in the carriage house after our wedding as a mini honeymoon. Our stay was fantastic, Renee and Robert were very personable and made sure to make our stay very special! We got the romance package, highly recommend! Breakfast was so good each morning as well and at such a reasonable hour (9am). It was such a great way to start off each day.

We stayed here in December 2024. It was AWESOME. Breakfast was always delicious, we loved lfire pit in the courtyard - and Renee and Robert (and Baxter) were the best of hosts. We would definitely stay here again!

I stayed at the coppersmith inn, last year around March, and returned on December 2nd for a spontaneous getaway with my NOW FIANCE!! Let me start off by saying how obviously stunning that house is, gosh I literally cannot stop thinking, looking and reminiscing on how absolutely gorgeous Renee’s home is. Don’t even get me started on Renee and her husband Robert! What a couple!! Renee helped my fiancé set up for his proposal while we were away for dinner, I walked in and there was rose pedals that led to the outside balcony of our room, champagne and beautifully lit candle like lamps. I was happy I started bawling when he asked me to marry him. We walked down to Renee to thank her for all her help and she was so warm and kind even shared beautiful stories about her and Robert’s wedding. Such a pleasure to be around. Love Love Love !! Please do yourself a favor and book this amazing place you will never regret it.

Also I forgot to mention her cooking is AMAZING!!!!

Renee, Robert, and Dexter have been such great hosts. Renee’s cooking is out of this world, Robert’s green thumb really accentuates the beautiful scenery in the backyard, and of course Dexter is the sweetest little guy you will ever meet! We enjoyed our two nights stay! I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a historical journey, it feels like we were in a part of Europe with the beautiful view of the pool and backyard space. We can’t wait to return for our next trip to Galveston.
