Sean gave us an amazing tour! He is so knowledgeable and passionate about the history and environment of the area. When I texted him, he immediately responded and even though he hadn’t planned on doing a tour he changed his plans to accommodate us. He is a great tour guide and he loves what he does.
He is very personable and it’s so nice to deal with the owner of the business than dealing with a company.
Will have to come back with the whole family and do it all over again!

I was traveling through the area for work and had a day off to explore SP by kayak, but the rain was coming down way harder than expected. I met Sean at the Marina for a rental and he told me, "No commitment to go out, be safe first and foremost." I decided to go and check things out, knowing he was a phone call away if needed. He gave me a good map and directions for the area, and at the end of the day, didn't charge me for the rental since the weather was so bad. 10 out of 10 customer service, would recommend this place, and Sean in particular!

Great experience renting a kayak from Sean! Contacted him last second to rent one for my sister, he was there well before we had arrived and even directed us to some good fishing spots.

Punctual and on time! Sean hooked me up with a kayak last minute and pointed me in the direction of good fishing!!! Highly recommend him and his kayak. It was my first time catching a fish off a kayak and im hooked!!!

We scheduled a sunset kayak tour, but the weather didn't cooperate during our stay.
The guide put our safety first and canceled our tour.

Sean with Galveston Kayak Outfitters was so helpful and generous with his time and expertise! We had a fantastic adventure kayaking and bird watching! We saw at least 10 different species of birds eating, hunting and nesting in the marshes and along the shorelines. So much fun!!!

Sean is absolutely the best. Just finished 3 nights in Jamaica beach, Sean delivered 3 kayaks to our AirBNB before we got there. All very nice and in great shape. The weather turned cold and windy, we didn't make it out much. Sean didn't charge us for it! That's such a class act. We will definitely come again! Happy Thanksgiving youall!

We really enjoyed our sunset kayak tour with Sean! He was friendly and knowledgeable about the history and wildlife in Galveston, plus had great communication and gave us recommendations on restaurants and things to do while we were visiting. We would highly recommend the sunset tour, as the sunset over the water was really spectacular!

If you're looking to kayak in the Galveston area look no farther!! Highly recommend!! Sean was beyond kind and provided us with a detailed map with landmarks on the kayaking routes around the state park and took the time to explain all the details as well as provide plenty of water! We really enjoyed learning about the area as well as all the wildlife around and we will definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I did the sunrise tour, and we had an amazing time! Sean told us a bit about the history and ecology of state park, and he is very knowledgeable about the bay. We're new to kayaking, and we were able to go at our own pace. There was no fee to make a reservation, and we didn't have to pay anything until the day of our tour. Can't recommend enough!

Simply amazing experience. I’ve been visiting the island 2-4 times a year for almost 20 years but I’ve never done anything like this before. This was hands down the best experience of our most recent trips. Sean was so knowledgeable, personable, and an excellent guide.
Our whole group has previous kayak experience but he made sure we took breaks, enjoyed the tour, and answered all our questions. We even got to see some rare birds and had a close encounter with a rather large redfish.
I highly recommend the guided tour to anyone looking to do something fun and unique on the island.

My cousin and I went for the sunrise tour and it was amazing! Sean was super informative and lots of fun. He took pictures for us and showed us alot of the local wildlife and great information about the local area. Our first time kayaking and we will definitely go on another tour when in the area!
