Our uber driver recommended this place and i am very glad he did. We were walking along the strand and popped in. My bbq pizza was amazing! Definitely worth a stop in!

Shout out to Hearsay on the Strand for good food, excellent cocktails, and above-and-beyond service! We were there for lunch on Saturday March 15, our first visit. I had the margherita pizza, which I can definitely recommend, but the highlight for me was the amazing Pink Delicious gin-based cocktail (see the photo). The bartender took pride in that creation and it was delicious. My partner had a blackberry mocktail that was also fantastic. As for the service, it was great in the restaurant, and even better afterward when I discovered I'd left my debit card there after returning home (3 hours away)—a quick phone call and they were able to find the card and put it in the mail for me. Thanks Hearsay!

All we can say is WOW! My husband and I had an absolutely incredible experience sitting at the bar on a Tuesday night 01/14. We had friendly talk with the amazing bartender. He seemed to be a main bartender that really knew his stuff and poured his creativity into creating drinks we’ll never forget.It was our first time as Southern Californians in Texas as we were leaving for a cruise the next morning. The bartender was so attentive and offered us off-the-menu versions that really hit home for us. We wish we could have gotten his name, so we want to make sure he knows how much we appreciated his service, friendliness, and attentiveness.It was a warm, inviting, intimate atmosphere on a week night with delicious small bites - the deviled eggs were a fave! We tried to stay as long as we could until closing. Next time we are in Galveston, we will definitely be coming back here.

We came here on New Year’s Eve, unaware that we had booked a table for their New Year’s Eve limited menu four course dinner that was pretty pricey ($75/person). We booked through Open Table where it did not say anything about it being a special event so we found that disingenuous. The food was good but not what I intended/expected to order before arriving. There was a table of women behind us who were also obviously surprised by the special menu too because they ended up ordering drinks only and left.The service was great though, our server was fantastic and fast.

We had lunch at Hearsay on the Strand, and it was a fantastic experience. The vibe was great, and the food was excellent. We really enjoyed our meal, and the staff provided outstanding service. If we ever return to Galveston, I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

We had a little wait for a table and it was well worth it! I had the pistachio cocktail and it was so delicious. We had the charcuterie board, all the parts were exceptional. Loved that it came on a big pretzel. We also had the ahi tuna chips, they were amazing! Finished off with a slice of rich chocolate cheesecake. I would definitely go again and recommend it!
