We arrived early in the morning, and checked in quickly after filling out the waiver. The attendant was friendly and informative, and had answers for all our questions A great location to enjoy the outdoors and practice your favorite aquatic, or shooting sport.

Good lake that is close to Houston. There are plenty of tables/shaded areas you can use to set up your scuba gear and a few changing areas for you to use after your time in the water which is convenient. There are a few items for you to find in the lake as well if you are scuba diving. Some items you could miss unless you knew they were there. The last few times i have been there the visibility has been better than it has been and it seems that the attractions are also being cleaned as well which is nice and makes them easier to see if you are taking new divers on a dive.

Nice lake to train and swim in. You have to pay at gun range and get a wrist band to enter water. Scuba lessons were going on while in water swimming. Buoys could use an upgrade/ repairs as well as entering ramps. The changing booths are very sketchy. Best to change in car or truck after swim. There is a hose to rinse off after swim. Picnic tables are nice but no security areas to leave stuff while in water. Leave all valuables in vehicles. In all nice place.

Scuba diving lake in Houston area is family operated, Toni and Randy are super cool folks and very friendly.
This is a 55 acre lake, visibility 5-15ft depends on the season. Highly recommended! Go check it out!
