Such a beautiful small park- perfect for a romantic photography session. It was full of beautiful plants, was clean and landscaped, and was pretty quiet and empty. I am so glad my client recommended this park to do her session with her husband. What a fabulous hidden jem in the middle of the historic district of Galveston Island. A quiet and cool place to sit under a tree and enjoy lunch with a friend in the middle of an eclectic garden filled with flowers and butterflies. Plenty of free parking. Well tended and lovingly cared for, this park could easily be destroyed by an unattended child or careless park abuse.

It's a small garden but perfect to just enjoy the flowers, paint, or picnic. There isn't any parking but it is very cute.

Such a pleasant garden. The beaches are nice to sit in and take in the beautiful flowers on a nice day. Gorgeous zinnias, Lantana, roses, white angel trumpets, cucumber plants, cannas, petunias. Now no dogs allowed inside

This evening I decided to lounge in Darragh Park with a few friends from the Galveston Farmer's Market. It was nice. Ample seating, lights at just the right brightness to conversate, but not enough to anger the neighborhood, made for a pleasant evening. Would definitely recommend for a small gathering or some random wedding pictures.
