    What makes it fun

If you've found the peanut butter to your jelly and are looking for a spot to celebrate your love, whether a wedding, anniversary party, engagement party, or some other type of celebration, the Peanut Butter Warehouse is a great place to celebrate. Housed on the second floor of a 1907 warehouse, this venue boasts exposed brick, wooden beams, and expansive windows that flood the space with natural light and offer stunning harbor views. The 8,000-square-foot area (which can accommodate up to 350 seated guests) combines vintage character with contemporary elegance, creating a setting that's both smooth and crunchy in all the right ways.

My wife and I had our wedding reception at the Peanut Butter Warehouse and we are so glad we did!

First, the venue itself is absolutely beautiful! It is a historic building, and the lighting and exposed brick made it so we needed minimal extra decor. The lights all dim perfectly (no super harsh overhead lights) and the string lights gave such a romantic feel for the dinner & dance floor after.

We primarily worked with Jonathan (booking the venue, ordering linens, doing a walk through of the venue, emailing/calling about any questions, etc.) and he was fantastic through everything! We were able to have all our questions answered and because of that the day of went seamlessly. Jonathan always responded to us within 1-2 days and the week of the wedding we would call him and he would get back to us in a few hours. So we always had all of our questions answered!

Some especially nice things about the PBW if you are using it for a wedding/event were:

    1) We were allowed to set up the day before starting at 1 PM
    2) We were allowed to clean up the day after in the morning.
    3) Provided security for the event
    4) Tables, chairs, linens all provided by venue

I want to give a special shoutout to the owner of the venue. I feel so bad because I cannot recall her name, but she was super kind the weekend of our wedding. She told us we could clean up the day after in the morning if we needed to. She also helped us to clean up some things the night of the wedding. When we had some difficulty getting into the venue the morning after, she personally drove in.

If you book your wedding/event through Peanut Butter Warehouse you wont be disappointed!

A very large store with a wide selection: local artisans display their work, antiques, and jewelry. We tried the homemade peanut butter: excellent!

Fun store with many local vendors and tons of cool things to look at. A blend of a craft store, second hand store and trinket shop, this place has something for everyone. Bonus- a super knowledgeable shop keeper that provided a quick Galveston history lesson while I was checking out.

Neat little multivendor boutique store. Super friendly cashier, gave us a great history lesson about some events that has happened and some of the reported hauntings. Make sure to try out thier treats counter. Great freshly made options!

I miss the Peanut Butter Warehouse from when I was a kid. Back then, there were treasures and antiques everywhere you looked, and there was a costume shop for Dickens on the Strand on the upper floor. Went in this past weekend, and there was just a bunch of cheap-y junk. Didn't even get up to the second floor because everything on the first was so disappointing. I realize things change, but the great thing about PBW was that it was different from every other tourist-y shop on the strand, and it gave a reason to turn the corner and head to it directly. Now it's just like all the others.

This is the place! Great bar inside and out. Plenty of games to play. Added bonus.....the rest of the warehouse has one of a kind treasures for sale. Ask for Beth she will take care of you.
