I came from out of town, excited to boulder while on a business trip. Spent 10 minutes in here and decided it wasnt worth going on my site visit tomorrow injured. The floors here aren't padded. There are portable pads that look like they came from the 90's. I mean, an air mattress would be better. The routes are hard to tell apart in dim lighting (white, blueish, white with tiedye all look the same). Oh, and the solution to any spinner is to tape an X over it. So...you either skip it, or use it and fall...on the hard floor. Save your cash and time.

I can’t overstate how much I love bouldering here. Been going for years. Great routes, usually good variety. Lots of crimps, great people. And its cheap and cozy

Jake, Tyler, and Luke are the best. They deserve a raise.
This place needs more rocks. It is a rock wall right?
I'd sell healthy energy drinks at the front if I were them.

The kids had a really great time. There were AC issues or something, so it was REALLY HOT. Also, it's not an auto-belay system. You have to spot your kids manually. And because we have to spot them, we aren't able to climb with them, which is a shame.

Absolutely the worst experience. My family and I were there for less than 5 minutes before we were treated with rudeness and disrespect. One of the employees, Tyler, yelled at my child in such an aggressive way that it made her cry. That is completely unacceptable behavior from anyone, especially someone working around kids.

I 100% DO NOT recommend this place to anyone.

To make matters worse, the facility itself was in terrible condition — old, unsafe, and it smelled awful. We left immediately and will never return.

Well that was a waste of time. I tried calling several times over several days. No response. I even left a voicemail which they didn’t respond to.

I bought a Groupon deal which required an appointment (which I couldn’t book because no one answered the phone), so I just showed up during their advertised hours. The worker there mentioned the outdated website and that the owner had the company cell phone with him on vacation. I had two young kids with me under 7 years old, and I was told that they can’t climb because the non-advertised age limit for this place is 7 years. Will not be going back.

Dwight was so helpful and nice to chat with when we came in to rock climb. Last time I went rock climbing was as a teenager so Dwight instructed my husband and I on how to use the belays and how to secure our harnesses. The belay lesson was so simple and made me and my husband confident to belay each other. All of the rock climbing paths were fun and challenging and the equipment rental was relatively cheap. We will definitely be back for more climbing.

A fun climbing gym. The staff was friendly during our session. I stayed on what I perceived was the easier route (it wasn’t marked). The inside is not what I was expecting. It’s smaller than I imagined it to be. This was my first rock climbing experience so I have nothing to compare my visit to. Rock climbing was on my list of things to try and this gym served the purpose.

Been coming here for nearly a year and absolutely love this place. Recently did a lock-in and climbed all night with good friends and it was an absolute blast. 10 out of 10 would recommend again and again. Definitely worth going to climb there, the staff is friendly and knowledgable and the other climbers are great.

This was our second trip to Space City Rock Climbing. As with our first visit, everyone was very professional and wanting to ensure a good time was had by all. The staff went out of their way to make sure no one got hurt.

The obstacles are of varying levels of difficulty. So, there is a climbing adventure waiting for everybody. We stayed for about an hour and a half. The kids had a blast. I highly recommend visiting and seeing for yourself what a great family friendly place this really is. To stay longer than an hour or so I believe would require some endurance training.
