Started going here in 1966 at lunch when I worked at American Nation Insurance. Food was great! They had a huge big faced weight scale there! Weighed on it once a week!

Old time eatery with counter seating, indoor tables and pet friendly out door tables. Great service and all we had were sundaes, which were really good

My husband and I have been there many times because they have the best omelets you can get anywhere and because the people, including the other diners and waitstaff, and the atmosphere is awesome. We always enjoy our food and good conversation when we go there.

Atmosphere was great but the food was pricey. I ordered a Reuben Sandwich and it had one slice of corned beef. I could barely taste the meat. Loved the old fashioned counter but sandwich was kinda disappointing.

If traditional diner food is what you seek, search no longer. Growing up in New England, diner food is a staple and since moving to Texas over 20 years ago, I've missed that greasy spoon delight. Don't get me wrong, a lot of small towns have some great places throughout the state and this place ranks tops with the best of them. Service was top notch too....and you HAVE to get a milkshake...in fact, I demand you get a milkshake!!!

From the breakfast plates being served around us it looks like a great place for breakfast but we were there for lunch. Had a Rueben and Italian Pasta on the side. Very good. And there is table service outside which makes it so ice.

We were so happy to stumble upon Star Drug Store after the Mansions & Murder walking tour. It was the perfect spot for brunch after walking Galveston.

The service was welcoming and timely.
The food is fantastic- most enjoyable diner food including their tomato basil soup, patty melt, BLT sandwich and Galveston omelette. My favorite menu item is their coffee shake 🤤

Cute trinkets and jewelry displayed to browse and purchase! Me and my daughters bought matching rings!

I had been wanting to try this place for about 2 years now. It was so worth the wait! I was blown away at how good the food was, and how friendly the staff were. The owner was super nice and talked with us for a while, and I loved hearing the history of the place. The patty melt I ate was super unique and the eggs my parents had very super fluffy and had great flavor to them. I would always keep returning to this spot and I highly recommend getting breakfast or lunch at this place!

The best lunch spot in Galveston! I’ve been coming here for years and love the old school soda fountain vibe. The service is always great and the food is phenomenal.

Also, best Caesar salad around. Try a chocolate Dr. Pepper and enjoy the 1950’s vibe!
