We went to the Texas surf museum to attend a great gala event to enjoy the sharing of stories with other that have surfed the Gulf Coast and supported the history of our great coastline from East Texas to Boca Chica past Port Isabel inlet. They had a silent auction of amazing memorabilia and art plus so many great surfboards to show surfing legend within the sport! WISA ladies acknowledged greats and many were at this event from Texas to the West Coast! A very Amazing day!

This museum is vibrant and has so much to offer everyone in the family. Whether you are a surfer, angler, sailor, athelete, waterman, environmentalist, or just a plain sun seeker. This museum will touch your soul. The history of the sport entangled with the history of the Texas shore are captivating. Curated with a audio tour, multilevel gallery and monthly events this museum is a place to visit often and with a date or with a large family group, with locals or with someone who has never visited Texas. It has something for everyone. I am purposefully not posting any pictures, not to spoil the adventure. Enjoy!
