The hotel is cozy. The rooms are large and nicely furnished. All rooms face the boardwalk which is wonderful for entertainment.

Stayed here for one night, and you couldn't ask for a better location in Kemah! ON the boardwalk, with everything you could want, in short walking distance. Our room was perfect, and the kiddos loved how early in the morning they could jump into the pool and hot tub! parking garage with easy access into the hotel, and a parking pass provided to us, so we could come and go easily. We'd definitely stay here again!

The hotel is awesome! The staff? Unfriendly with chip on the shoulder attitudes. Lackluster management of, and cleanup in the pool area. Pool opens at dawn. We went down at 8 AM, the pool was locked, and there were no towels. Once unlocked, the pool area was completely dirty from the night before. A girl came and swept, but left dirty towels from the previous day along with food wrappers and assorted trash on the ground and deck chairs. The Boardwalk is a great property. Our previous visits have always been pleasant with attentive staff and professional attitudes. Don’t let charlatans manage your top of the line business! Get good folks without the attitude baggage. Oh, almost forgot. There was a brief power outage. We returned to the hotel to find the emergency lights illuminated. Upon entering the lobby, three staff were at the desk loudly chatting with a guest. I asked one of the staff if the door keys still worked and was ignored. Asked again. Still ignored. Raised my voice to a near shout, and finally got the attention of staff. Why didn’t they greet us with the information we needed? Why completely blow off customers until they have to shout to be heard? We’re coming back because it’s a special place for us. Get the DEI hires a new occupation.

Tyler is awesome. We came for my wife birthday. We are enjoying the weekend. Thank you Tyler for making this weekend her best birthday celebration. Your customer service is definitely a ten. We will tell all my my friends about the Boardwalk Inn. Easy access to everything. The room were very clean. Right now we are sitting on the balcony listening to DJ playmusic. We watch a Christmas movie from the balcony last night. Just a great place to stay with lot of things to do and places to eat.

The view is nice. It’s quiet if you come during the week. There aren’t many options for eating halal and they don’t allow food from outside vendors into the hotel. It’s nice but very overpriced. We came here to stay close to the boardwalk but a day trip is enough.

Always a good experience staying at the Boardwalk Inn! Fun atmosphere and proximity to many good restaurants. Both on the boardwalk and local communities. Staff is friendly and hotel is comfortable.

This place is awesome !! Was there mid November 2025, room overlooked stage when band was playing. Super friendly staff! TAYLOR was so helpful in making our Reservations and when we arrived he was gracious made sure we had anything we needed. Very informative!! Great place to stay, hidden jewel in Texas !

What a great place..! Stayed at the inn and watched the Grand Illusion Styx Tribute band. Excellent FREE entertainment and a clean room. Great customer service from Tyler and Hallie. I'll be back

I wish I could remember the nice front desk ladies name but she was AMAZING. So sweet and a huge help to me and my kids, absolutely went above to help me out! The service definitely made the experience.

Way overpriced for off season. Rooms are ok, nothing special. No microwave and no food vending machines. We had to call twice, two different days, to get fresh towels. We were told they would be delivered and finally went and got them on the 3rd day. We had a room with a balcony that faced the boardwalk but it only had a slatted wooden awning so you can not sit out there if it’s even lightly raining.

Pretty nice, but still stuck in the 90’s a bit. The carpet in the halls and elevator needs to be replaced (smells). internet speed is turtle slow. TV channels are non-existent. Bathroom shower curtains are old. Entrance is difficult to find. You go into the parking garage and the entrance is on the 2nd floor of the garage. All of the restaurants are owned by the same company, so the food is roughly the same everywhere. It’s what you’d expect. Not great, not bad. Location is convenient to NASA and the Space Center museum.
