If you're anywhere near Houston this little 5 acre retreat is a blessing. This true bed and breakfast has it all. From the rustic feel of a historic gem all the way to the feel good home vibe. What an inviting place. They offer three different stay places that each have their own feel. The Barracks has the perfect tiny home feel for the older couple that is looking for ideas of serenity with the perfect blend of luxury and romanticism. Offers up digs such as a double tub and shower area built in a sauna style area that's so serene. Imagine soaking with a nice glass of wine with your favorite music in the melodic candle lit area. Such a treat for couples.
The Bathouse offers a comfortable camp style stay with a vintage camper that's super cozy and offers an amazing enclosed outdoor area for the privacy of a romantic bath experience. There's everything you need to "camp" comfortably.
The Saloon is one of the best thought of features of this place. Entertain your closest friend base here with the awesome Western style saloon complete with pool table and bar setup. Upstairs a cozy bustic dark wood tree feel that's inviting and relaxing. With the Saloon you get the entire yard area, pool, Jacuzzi, huge fire pit. I won't post photos as there's enough on their website. Give Cedar Oaks Inn a visit if you're ever in town for an event in Galveston or just want a special treat for you and your significant other.

Cedar Oaks Inn is by far the best experience in Texas. It is an absolute paradise. The owners have curated everything in such a way that you never need to leave the comfort of the house, because it is better than anything around. From the beautiful pool to the outdoor bathtubs and showers, to the firepits and chimeneas, to all of the personal touches in the different houses, it is amazing.
I recommend to everyone I know thats heading south.

Absolutely spectacular in every way! Pictures do not do the property justice; so much foliage, life, and charm at every turn. We came as a small group for a girl’s weekend and cannot wait to return and re-discover the magic here (there is so much to admire, and not enough time in a day to soak it all in!). The owners truly pull out all of the stops to make you feel at home, and Tonya’s breakfasts were stellar. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!!

Was the plus one to a birthday held there. The owners (whose name I am struggling to remember, Sorry) were very gracious and outgoing. I was given the grand tour by the owner . He was very proud of the place and has every right to be. If you are having a wedding, birthday, anniversary, whatever, I would recommend this place.

My wife and I stayed at Cedar Oaks Inn on a whim for our anniversary. We wanted a place where we could relax and unwind. We stayed in the Birdcage Saloon and it was amazing. Having the downstairs living space with plenty to do along with the upstairs bedroom area was great for us. Along with that, the pool/spa area was so peaceful and had a Mediterranean vibe. The property is very well taken care of. The hospitality was top notch. The breakfast is outstanding, and we were always offered a Bloody Mary/Mimosa. We will 100% be back for a visit in the future! Don’t sleep on Cedar Oaks Inn!

This is a great Bed and Breakfast in a place we wouldn't usually visit, but we came here for a wedding that was happening across the street. It was so nice, even though we don't have a reason to visit Dickinson, we would stay here again for a romantic getaway. We stayed in the Barracks and it was so peaceful and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. The only thing I didn't realize is that they serve breakfast at your cottage, not in a central house. That wasn't explained so it caused a little confusion at first. We didn't visit the other parts of the grounds, but were invited to. It is very spacious and definitely a place that is unique and romantic.

We stayed in The Barracks during our wedding weekend and WOW! Tanya and Jeff were very accommodating to all of our needs the entire weekend. I can’t say enough how grateful I am for them. This was the perfect little piece of paradise we needed to escape the anxiety and stress of wedding planning. It was also a bonus that we were able to bring our dog with us for the weekend. Tanya served the best breakfast to accommodate my vegetarian needs. Every little detail of the property doesn’t go unnoticed, they have put in the work and it shows! I couldn’t recommend this property enough!

This place is beautiful and magical ! It feels like a very private and hidden oasis, yet so near to I-45. Easy to reach attractions such as NASA, Kemah and Galveston - also great shopping and restaurants are nearby. The hosts are the most accommodating that you can imagine, and the breakfast is perfectly prepared. My sister and I stayed in the Birdcage Saloon which was very spacious and comfortable, just steps away from the resort pool. I really can't recommend it enough !

What a phenomenal experience! We are local to Dickinson and happened to find this place online. We stayed this weekend to celebrate our anniversary.

The hosts were so hospitable and every detail was taken care of. We stayed in the Birdcage saloon and it was luxury in and of itself! I also appreciated that while there was a TV downstairs, it wasn't the focal point of the space and encouraged us to unplug and spend intentional time with each other without distractions.

The hosts provided a delicious dessert plate and cheese and meat tray for us and a delicious breakfast in the morning. We hung out in the pool all day and they delivered us margaritas and were just so welcoming.

We will be staying here every anniversary -it was exactly what we needed. We have 5 small children at home so we needed to be close for our babysitters sake, but it felt like we were in our own private retreat and we feel so refreshed and ready to tackle being parents again.

Highly recommend!
