Seems like for the price to enter and fish and then a re-entry fee and the staff rolling around, they could clean up the shore a bit more. Disappointed in the trash that has built up.
If the current is flowing correctly, excellent fishing. If not, you'll catch nothing but rocks.

By far completely disappointed, the state of Texas does not charge me for my child to fish but this horrible place right here not only did they try to charge me for a six-year-old two but then my wife doesn't even finish at all and she's pregnant and they were trying to charge me for the baby that was in her stomach

So it went from a friendly fishing trip to almost being charged $65 just for me and my family to come fish even though I have a year licensed to fish. I have to pay them to fish not only them, but I have to pay for all my kids, which is crazy because the state of Texas allows them to fish for free under a certain age, but if this place which I've never seen in my life, they charge me for my kids to fish.

And you're trying to charge me an insane amount for one of those I can understand charging me to fish but my wife and my kids is completely absurd and it's crazy. I just don't understand how that is OK and everybody thinks it's OK at the end of the day kids should be free. Adults should pay. It's very simple. But this place has completely lost all respect for me and needs to come back to humanity and stop being such a pocket hungry place.

Exceptional story about WW2 submarine USS CAVALLA (SS-244)...the only US submarine to sink a Japanese aircraft carrier, IJN Shokaku. The Shokaku was 1 of the carriers whose planes bombed Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. In addition, the nearby DE-238 USS Stewart has an equally fascinating story. 1 of only 2 remaining Edsall-class ships, the Stewart protected convoys in the Atlantic during WW2.

Such a great place to hang out after you enjoy the naval museum. You can watch the dolphins swimming, ships and boats galore and plenty of birds too! There’s also fishing allowed if you want to do that.

Had a wonderful time exploring the WWII USS Stewart and the WWII submarine USS Cavalla, which was involved in Pearl Harbor. Anika was very knowledgeable did a fantastic job explaining everything to us. The views from both ships over the ocean are really great. There is plenty of parking and a nice park with a playground for kids. This is a great activity for people of all ages and part of our history not to be missed.

The price definitely went up since we starting coming here years ago. It’s $15 per person. But at least we normally always go home with some fish. They keep the place clean. And portable restroom aren’t too bad

I'd you are a WWII buff you need to go here and tour the sub. Period. The USS Cavala was really informative and well done. The USS Stewart is in process so some areas are not accessible and needs more restoration in general

It’s worth the visit if you really like naval ships. It’s 2 quick self guided tours one on the USS Cavalla a Destroyer escort and a sub, so sorry I forgot it’s actual name but it’s nickname was avenger of Pearl Harbor. Quick tours, not huge ships but still pretty interesting. Only portapotties on site so go the bathroom a head of time. 10$ parking, 14$ an adult admission

I can only share what I saw driving through the park... I was looking for a place to wade and fish near the park when I ran out of room to turn around and ended up at the gate. The staff were super polite and allowed me to turn around in the park. The ship and submarine appeared to be very well taken care of, little or no visible rust. The park had a nice parking lot and well-kept grass. This is a well-known fishing area to locals. You can often find flounder, speckled trout, and redfish in this area. The park sits next to a deep channel used by the ferries, oil tankers, cruise lines, and one retired battleship (USS Texas). There's a lot of accommodations I saw while driving through the park. I intend to come back.

Bring a lunch, lots of drinks, fishing pole, sun screen, frisbee, and prepare to spend the day enjoying the playground, open grassy areas to play, wrap around water to fish, and the Naval Museum.

A neat historic park. Two great WWII ships to take self guided tours on. Very good to teach the younger generations about what the "Greatest Generation" went through.

Me and my husband came here and my husband loved getting to see the exhibits and even getting to be on the ships and walk through and see what the insides were like. There were plenty of signs relaying information of the what, why, when, and where!

Seawolf Park is a great place to fish, play, and watch the boats come in and out of the bay. The park also hosts two USN vessels which includes a museum (also highly recommend exploring). Does cost $10 to park your vehicle. Google Maps will lead you here if you use it - kind of a hidden back road to get there but keep going! Recommend if you're in the area looking for someone to do!

I wish people would pick up their trash on the rocks after fishing . The park tries to keep up with cleaning, but there are way to many trash left behind or thrown.

In positive notes - playground is nice. A good place to watch dolphins - we saw 4. We didn't use the BBQ or picnic area, but they look taken care of.
$10 parking per day. Museum is separate cost, but within the park.
The walkway is large, the pier was crowded from people fishing - but it was nice to see people being outdoor.

Will be back one day.
