This is a lovely date night pace. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. The view of the water is amazing and really sets the mood for a beautiful night out. The food is delicious and the portions are just right. We had a margarita and it was very flavorable and the tequila that is used is smooth. The service is top notch and everyone who worked there is professional and kind.

We celebrated our 53rd anniversary at Villa Capri and the service wasn't great. Our waitress didn't tell us her name or the special for the night. She took our order and neglected to let us know there was a salad bar included with dinner. We had to ask for a refill of water twice. She brought our food and it was good and we liked it. The restaurant wasn't busy and it just wasn't up to par. I was very disappointed with the service.

This place never disappoints. The family friendly atmosphere to the excellent food. And now that the weather is getting nicer the patio is a must. Thank you for always serving delicious food with professional staff.

This was our go to for veal piccata, excellent drinks ,excellent service and chocolate mousse cake! Sadly, something changed the last time we were there. The veal piccata was mushy and in a thicker sauce, lacking the acidic bite of capers etc. The vegetables were also just mushy. The service was subpar in that the young man barely checked on us and we had to flag him down, but he was not busy with a lot of tables. And he did spend time chatting with apparent friends outside for a while. Just letting y’all know because this is a very nice upscale family owned restaurant that we would like to continue to support. But will give it a little time now.

Wow, what an amazing authentic Italian restaurant. From the time you walk in you are greated by family which gives this place the comfort of home. The hardest part is picking your choice of foods to eat. The grounds out back are stunning and can only believe how beautiful it would be to hold an event, especially a wedding or reception. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and our waitress Ju Ju (Judy) did a great job and was there at every turn. I have included pics of all the food we ordered and again they were perfect and good portions. They have a full bar and incredible wine selections. I hope you get to stop by and enjoy great food with great people. Cheers and enjoy!

I recently visited Villa Capri for a work lunch, and I am quite excited to go back when in the area. This is a BEAUTIFUL location that is charming, well run, and has a well curated menu. Upon arrival, I did get lost and accidentally entered the wrong building. The restaurant is the left set of doors when facing the building. The venue for parties is to the right and the kitchen is to the center (yes I accidentally opened the kitchen and yes I felt quite mortified by my accidental trespass). The restaurant itself is very cute and OOZES cozy vibes. It's atmospheric and has a very good viewing window to overlook the water. What made this lunch extra special was Linea (apologies if this is misspelled). She was paired with us as our server and was truly incredible right off the bat with jokes, witty banter, and a bit of sass that was all class and no crass. I've worked at a few restaurants and she is one of the BEST servers I have ever interacted with. She helped us with our orders and had a clear, strong grasp of the menu. Everything came out right, she was prompt on checking in on the table and its needs, and honestly left a wonderful impression. At the very end, she even gave a little extra dessert for me to bring to my wife since the tiramisu was out that I had originally ordered (she swapped in the cheesecake which was nice and the chocolate mousse cake which was fantastic). She is exactly the server every restaurant wishes they had. The food itself was quite good. We had mussels which were cooked VERY nicely and were paired with a lovely bread. My main was a seafood pasta (they call it Fisherman), which was overall good. The only gripe was the scallops were a bit tough and would have benefitted from maybe being prepared on the side so they get a nice sear before being readded. The mussels and clams were great, the shrimp was particularly good, and the calamari was nice. It also had a lobster tail half which was prepared VERY nicely. Overall, I had a good time here. It's a tad expensive, but the views are nice, the service was fantastic, and the food was pretty darn good. It's a charming location that is well suited for both the restaurant half and the events side, and I will certainly be back if i am ever in the area (particularly for a date night).

They have an extremely beautiful patio with a very wide view of Clear Lake. As an outdoor person, it's one of my favorite places. And I enjoy taking family and friends there.

Of all the restaurants that were open when I first moved to the Clear Lake area more than forty years ago, this is the only one that is still open. AND THERE’S A REASON FOR THAT. Not once have we ever been there when the congenial owner wasn’t there to welcome us back, and gladly acquiesce when asked to personally prepare our favorite dishes. And the impeccably maintained grounds are reminiscent of a fine Italian Manor, and far and away the best view on the lake. Why this place doesn’t have a long line at the door is a mystery, but we will continue to do our part to make it happen. A true gem!

Was visiting the area from out of town. Made a reservation here for a birthday celebration. This place has a lot of potential, but our experience was not a good one. The food wasn't bad, I give it a B-. The restaurant itself was kind of run down looking, but the water view was nice. The service was poor. Our server I think was trying to be witty, but her sarcasm was borderline disrespectful. By the end of the meal we really just wanted to get out of there.

My children joined me for Mother's Day. Everything on the buffet was scrumptious ! Dessert offerings just enough with coffee. We had a delightful afternoon.......a family ambiance. Service was excellent.

Their red sauce is something to write home about. I was going to order the snapper or something else but thought, I’d go with an Italian staple like chicken cacciatore. Absolutely, amazing. This is honestly, the best Italian I have had….ever. That sauce. Wow. I can’t wait to go back for snapper or muscles and other dishes. Lastly, out of no where I hear the most wonderful Italian song being sung by what I assume is the owner. How delightful.

I love Frency's and Villa Capri! On Sundays, Villa has a buffet with many of my favorites! After we ate, we sat outside for almost an hour with our desserts!

Love this place. Try it if you want to get great food and a beautiful view of Clearlake. You can even dock your boat and rent out the home next to it for parties. Great prices. We always order Snapper Piccata and Pinot Noir it's our favorite there.

I had a great time here! We didn’t get the traditional menu since we came as a large group (65+ people), but everything we had was delicious. Be sure to go out on the back patio for a lovely lake view!

Great food! We loved everything we got. I got the Chicken Parmesan. Service was great. Atmosphere was great for date night. The outside area was really nice though we didn't dine during the day so we only got the night view. Still beautiful though.

Had Villa Capri's food at a friend's wedding they catered. Finally had a chance to come back and try more of their wonderful dishes. Can't express enough words to describe the quality of care to their ingredients. Fresh, made daily, vibrant, etc. The marinara had a soft and great flavor. Pasta was cooked to perfection. And the Shrimp Champagne just had a flavor that was out of this world. Don't think there's a dish here you could go wrong with. Order to preferences or past Italian favorites. The view when you're seated was just spectacular. We had a wonderful night catching up and relaxing. The staff was always attentive and there was never a moment where we were lacking. What's your favorites? We will definitely be back for more. Until next time.
