Housed in a retrofitted 1955 International Metro van, once a milk truck, this mobile coffee haven exudes retro charm and groovy vibes. The Oh La La Latte (a vanilla latte topped with banana pudding cold foam) and the Green Eyed Lady Latte (a vanilla brown sugar latte topped with matcha cold foam) are pretty much perfection. This was such a fun and unique coffee shop.
There was a line but not to long.
I ordered the Joplin which was a pistachio latte with a pistachio cold foam. It was amazing.
My husband got the Kelso which was salted caramel and toffee nut.
Service was amazing, good music and quick service. The van was so cool. Check this place out, you will not regret it.

Love this place, the service is excellent, she's the best coffee grinder in Galveston, TX! She will not disappoint, during my 13 weeks traveling assignment, she has been my "Go to" love her!! Everything I tried and anything she suggested was amazing! I will miss her and her amazing Latte's. Unfortunately, this will be my last week here, I wish I could take her with me lol. I may just result to just tea now, because I'm not going to find any coffee grinder nearly as good as her lol.

I stopped by Groovy Grind Coffee Co. earlier today and it was easily one of the best coffee experiences I’ve had in Galveston. The coffee itself was exceptional — rich, smooth, and full of flavor. The vintage-style van setup is incredibly cool and really leans into the retro “groovy” theme, giving it a fun and memorable vibe.

The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, taking the time to answer my questions and guide me to a great drink choice. While the pricing is a bit on the higher side, the quality absolutely justifies it. If you're looking for a unique and delicious coffee stop in Galveston, Groovy Grind Coffee Co. is definitely worth checking out.

Great coffee and barista was very friendly and knowledgeable. I got a Carmel latte that comes with 2 shots of espresso on the house, with additional 3 extra shots of espresso. The flavor of the coffee was excellent with no over powering coffee taste. The price was only $8, so very cheap! Which I love!!

I got a matcha latte with blueberry lavender foam on top (I forgot the name of the drink). It was delicious however I wish it had been a little sweeter, but it's my fault not mentioning to the barista to add sweetener. I liked that the coffee truck was conveniently located downtown and even had places to sit and drink coffee. And even though the barista was busy, she was really friendly.

Cute local coffee truck! Decided to try out a local coffee shop while staying in Galveston and was very happy with my experience. I tried the banana foster today and will probably go back to try the Marci gras tomorrow. Great yummy flavor to start the morning. Support your local businesses ❤️.
