Katie’s Seafood delivered an outstanding dining experience that exceeded expectations on every level. I had the pleasure of dining with a group of ten, and from the moment we arrived, the service and food set the tone for an excellent evening.

I started with the gumbo, and it was nothing short of fantastic. Rich, comforting, and perfectly spiced, the thick roux was the star deep, dark, and full of flavor, just how a great gumbo should be. Every bite had a warmth that felt both indulgent and authentic.

For my entrée, I ordered the Korean snapper, and it was a showstopper. The portion was massive, more than generous, and beautifully plated. The snapper was perfectly cooked, flaking apart with ease, and the Korean-inspired marinade added a tangy, umami-rich punch. What really elevated the dish were the sides housemade kimchi and crisp Asian cucumbers which brought a refreshing, spicy crunch that balanced the dish brilliantly.

Our server, Paula, deserves a special shout-out. Handling a large group can be a challenge, but she was attentive, calm, and incredibly patient throughout the meal. She made sure drinks were full, orders were correct, and everyone was comfortable, all while keeping a friendly and professional demeanor.

The ambiance at Katie’s Seafood is relaxed yet vibrant, making it ideal for group outings, casual dinners, or even special occasions. With fresh Gulf seafood and globally inspired flavors, it’s clear this place has something special going on in the kitchen.

Highly recommend if you’re in the area…go hungry and prepare to be impressed!

We came here based on the great reviews and tried to make a reservation online—but there weren’t any available. We totally understood why once we arrived!

There was a 30-minute wait when we pulled up, which wasn’t a big deal. I grabbed a seat at the bar while my husband stood next to me. After about 10 minutes, a worker came by and brought him a chair—he didn’t have to, but he did, and that small gesture meant a lot!

The bartender was also super sweet, checking in on us and keeping us updated about our table. We were lucky to be seated outside—it was a beautiful day with a great view, which added to the experience.

Now let’s talk about the food… OMG, the food was INCREDIBLE. Everything we ate was delicious, and we genuinely enjoyed every bite. The whole experience—from the kind staff to the amazing food—was so good, we’ve officially become fans. My husband is already drooling over our next visit!

We had such a great experience at Katie’s Seafood! Even though they were super busy, we were seated in under 5 minutes on the dog-friendly patio with a beautiful, relaxing view of the pier and boats coming and going. We originally came for the crab and shrimp boil, but the ship hadn’t arrived yet. We switched to the Chef’s Special Red Snapper, and while we waited, Chef Brent himself came over to personally apologize and chat with us. He was so kind—and to our surprise, he brought out the full crab and shrimp boil anyway! Both meals were absolutely delicious. The snapper was phenomenal, and the boil was packed with flavor. Our server, Alex, was awesome—attentive and friendly. Service was timely, the vibe was laid-back, and the whole team was down-to-earth. They even have a market inside, and you get 10% off with your receipt. We wish we had time to come back again during our trip, but we’ll definitely be back next time. Highly recommend!

Boat to table deliciousness! Super fresh seafood and gorgeous ambience on the dock. Fish market next door belonging to the same people. Very accommodating to switch around sides, manner of cooking, and accompaniments. Food came out quickly, well prepared and flavorful. Lots of seating, though at 1pm the lunch rush was still going strong. There was a 30-45 minute wait at 1, but they do their best to turn tables over quickly and get you seated. There is seating wait outside and a nice dock with sights to see as you pass the time if you do have a wait.

Went to enjoy a family dinner. My husband's only criteria was that he wanted seafood. It was an hour wait (at 7 p.m. on a Sunday before a cruise day) but we decided to brave it and wait.

The seafood was very good and very well seasoned. We were in a party of 8 and everyone loved their food. Highly recommend coming into this beautiful restaurant.
