I love this little beach. Rarely other people there, and I can take my dog. Who is skittish, but has a good time there as well.

I'm new to the area and it's very close to my house. I've driven by twice (early afternoon) to check it out. There were families there both times.

Nice little beach with oyster reef right off it! Expect oyster shells because that's their home.
I love seeing them there with the tide and hope y'all keep this beach as natural as possible.
I hope a trash can gets installed at some point. A lot of little I'm having to walk to the bar trash across the street.

Plenty of parking and good wade fishing. 18" drum caught on dead shrimp.

And a nice little bar across the street to celebrate your catches!

A friend of mine had special ties to this particular beach. I'd never been before the clean up. It was too cold to be there, but we sat on the farthest end of the shoreline and watched the other people. The sky was beautiful and the water was calm. She told me that her mom was the reason that everyone got to enjoy the beach that day. She was so proud of her. A few months later my sweet friend passed away. But I think she'd want me to tell everyone that story and to let y'all know its great little beach. Try to stay until sunset and say a prayer for her Mom if you can. I always do. It's not goodbye Sarah girl, just until I see you again. I'll never forget that Day or the story of how Mooner Beach became one of my favorite places to be.

Great quiet place to be at.
Loved the secluded feel yet not too far from anywhere ..can't wait to see the moon out at night..I hear it's a great view ..anyone care to join me next time the moon is full?
