⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐If you're looking for the perfect getaway, The George Manor in the historic district of Galveston, Texas is it! This place is absolutely stunning — full of charm, character, and elegance. The staff is truly incredible, going above and beyond to make sure every moment of your stay is unforgettable. The food was absolutely delicious, and every detail, from the service to the atmosphere, made us feel so special and cared for. You can tell they genuinely love what they do. I can't recommend The George Manor enough — it’s a true gem! We can't wait to come back!

An absolute gem in Galveston! The servicee exceeded our expectations. The morning breakfast was a 5 star experience. Michael & Rosi anticipated what we might need & delivered an unmatched experience. The added touch of beverages & snacks in our room fridge was icing on the cake. Our room was cozy & quaint. Highly recommend The George Manor for your stay in Galveston.

I cannot say enough praise for The George Manor! From the staff to building, from the mural on the wall to the tea served at High Tea Time, everything had a story!The owner was so sweet and took the time to answer every question, the chef was amazing and had so much richness to share of his life, the property and the city itself, the bed gave me the greatest night sleep of my entire life, and the breakfast and tea time were so amazingly authentic it took me back to my time in the UK eating full English breakfasts every week!We will never stay in an overpriced hotel again!

Stayed in the Grande Suite. Comfortable with good size kitchen and living room. Room had everything we needed from coffee to snacks and beer in fridge. Walked two blocks to a great Mexican restaurant. The breakfast was wonderful and consisted of eggs, brats, potatos, fruit, toast, cereal and bacon. Michael and his staff were great hosts.

Wow, what an island gem! I highly recommend staying at the George Manor. The beautifully restored historic home was cozy and comfortable and the English breakfast prepared by master chef Michael De Beyer was absolutely delicious. Owner, Graham George, was gracious and kind and his hospitality made our experience memorable. We will be back!

We had a Great time! I felt very catered to and the staff was so sweet! We needed a place to stay the night of and they were very accommodating!Everything was very clean and put together and the bed was super soft! Everything was very old and pretty and Convenient! Breakfast was very cool and Rosie was very sweet and helpful. And the food was Delicious! Will hopefully get to come again and will recommend to everyone!

This is a place that you will enjoy your stay. The place is so nice and historic. Our room had a living area with desk and large TV. There was a nice kitchen and a big bedroom and bathroom. In the fridge there was snacks and a couple beers and some soda pops as well as water bottles. You are treated like kings and queens. Customer service above and beyond.Breakfast was delicious and freshly made. Michael reach by text to make sure that evening if we needed anything. We asked for additional bottle waters and when we got back they were there. We asked for a bucket of ice and when we returned from dinner it was there. Bed was very comfortable and quiet. Wonderful stay. Will come again.
