We had an amazing experience at this Mexican restaurant! A special shout-out to Betty, who did an outstanding job taking care of our group of 30 guests. Managing a group that size is no easy task, but she handled everything with ease, professionalism, and a positive attitude. She made sure everyone was taken care of and that everything ran smoothly without any problems. Her ability to manage such a large group alone truly deserves recognition! We also want to recognize Erasto for his professionalism, kindness, and excellent hospitality. He made us feel welcomed and appreciated, and his friendly attitude helped make our experience even better. Employees like Betty and Erasto are what make a restaurant stand out. Their dedication to customer service made our visit memorable, and we truly appreciate the effort they put into making sure we had a great time. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and outstanding service!

I honestly don't even know where to begin. The food wasn't necessarily nasty, but it was DEFINITELY lacking seasoning and flavor. For a restaurant that specializes in Tex-Mex/Mexican cuisine, I'm genuinely baffled by how bland everything was. My husband ordered street tacos, and I'm still trying to figure out what was supposed to make them street tacos. It was literally dry chicken with onions. That's it! I ordered two tacos, which came rolled up, with no sauces or anything on the side to complement them. Then there was the cilantro rice. Now, somebody please tell me how you serve cilantro rice with NO cilantro? To make matters worse, the rice was undercooked! And let's not forget those sad charro beans. No seasoning, no onions, no peppers, NOTHING! They honestly tasted like someone opened a can, poured the beans onto the plate, and called it a day. I'm not expecting every restaurant to have the same flavors or cooking style, but seasoning and properly cooked food should be the bare minimum. Especially when you're advertising Tex-Mex/Mexican cuisine. Overall, this was a very disappointing dining experience for both my husband and me. The food had so much potential, but the lack of flavor and attention to detail was hard to overlook.

We ate at the Bay Area Blvd location and Tony was our waiter. Food was amazing and Tony was an AWESOME waiter!!! We will definitely be back!

Ms. Betty and Ms. Samantha made this evening absolutely wonderful! We had a rather large group, approx 40, and they somehow managed to keep up with every request, order, question, etc. The food and atmosphere were top notch, per usual, but these ladies truly made the experience perfect. 10/10!! We love dining here.

Despite us going on a busy Father’s Day the service was excellent and the food was delicious. We didn’t have to wait long for our food at all and the staff was very friendly. Would definitely go back. :)

My husband and I love Escalantes. The food is always on point and so are the drinks. Try the smoked cucumber margarita. Carlos, our usual waiter, is amazing! Such great service.

Sebastian took such good care of us as our waiter! He suggested the corn salsa on my chicken because it was so good! I took his word for it and I'm so glad I did because it was so incredibly delicious! 😋 We also got the sopapillas for dessert and they were so airy and fluffy! Highly recommend!

The wife and I went last night for a Valentine's Day date. We waited for about 45 minutes for a table, which is to be expected for the holiday with no reservations. Our server was very nice, and the food and drinks were really good. My only critique is that I would have preferred the bacon that wrapped my shrimp to be a little crispier. Over all we had a really great experience and we look forward to going back!

We were looking for something small to snack on as we had a pretty good sized breakfast. We shared the appetizer with everything on it! SO GOOD! Hit the spot for sure!! Had a couple of drinks. The water was the BEST! Crisp, cold, and refreshing. The drinks, meh (but we are also NOT bug drinkers) I forgot to take pictures of the appetizer we shared... and could NOT finish!

I love coming here. The service and food is always a 10/10. I love the corn bisque The shrimp enchiladas Mexican martini is my favorite. Staff is always so nice and attentive. The food is always fresh and comes in good portion. I recommend this place
