We were excited to try this restaurant, so I made an online reservation for three people. When we arrived an employee told us the wait would be 30 minutes. A “manager or person in charge” came out and I mentioned our reservation, he checked the book and said : There’s nothing here. Immediately he says : “The restaurant is closing and we have what we have” This was around 1:00 p.m. on a Sunday, even though the restaurant’s door and website stated that it was open until 9:00 p.m. that was so confusing. The man comes back again and greets another family with the same “it’s a 30 minute wait”, no hello or welcome in, after they left my husband politely mentioned that guests should be greeted upon entering, not just told rudely that there’s a 30 minute wait…the employee dismissively replied, “Yeah, yeah, good talk.” The employee was extremely rude and unprofessional, so we left immediately. This was a very disappointing experience, and the restaurant should improve its communication, posted hours, and customer service. Definitely Not good vibes as the sign states

Our waiter Jesse is absolutely wonderful. Margaritas are perfect and at a great price. The food taste fabulous however they have a tendency in the kitchen to overcook the fajitas so you might want to ask for them medium. There’s not a lot of advertisement so therefore a lot of people are unaware of this establishment. I highly recommend that you visit and if you like sitting outside on the patio, feel free to bring your pet.

First time visit for lunch turned out to be awesome. Great service and environment. They even allow dogs on the patio and have a doggie menu. The lunch menu had an excellent selection for decent prices. The lunch portion was so huge, I got a to-go box and then forgot it. Normally, I don’t turn around to go back if I forget the to-go box, but the food was so scrumptious I turned around to get the leftovers. I will definitely go back!

We ate here and absolutely loved it. The food was super fresh and the Birria nachos and taco were both fabulous. The vibe is so fun and the staff were very friendly. Definitely check this place out. A hidden gem for sure.

*Bad Vibes* I’m writing this to ownership because what we experienced at Good Vibes Coastal Cantina was not just poor service—it was a complete breakdown in management and customer handling. Our visit quickly went off track with extremely long delays. It took far too long to receive even basic items, and we had to repeatedly follow up just to get attention at the table. While delays can happen, what matters is how they’re handled—and in this case, they weren’t handled at all. The bigger issue came when our check included charges for items that were never delivered to our table. We raised this concern before closing out and were told it would be corrected. It wasn’t. Even more concerning was how the situation was handled afterward. Instead of resolving the billing error or acknowledging the service issues, management chose to confront us in a way that felt unprofessional and unnecessary. The interaction escalated to the point where we were asked to leave, which is unacceptable given that we were simply trying to address legitimate concerns about our bill and overall experience. What stood out most was the lack of accountability. There were a couple of employees who appeared to genuinely care and tried to help, but they were clearly unsupported. The rest of the experience reflected a team that was either overwhelmed, poorly managed, or both. This was particularly disappointing because we’ve visited before and expected a much different standard. After this experience, it’s hard to justify returning. I would strongly encourage ownership to take a closer look at: 1. How billing errors are handled 2. How managers are trained to interact with guests during conflict 3. Overall service execution during peak times This wasn’t just a bad night—it felt like a systemic issue. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to make meaningful improvements

We had one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had at Good Vibes Coastal Cantina—honestly, it should probably be renamed “Bad Vibes Coastal Cantina” because there was absolutely nothing “good” about this experience. I was here with clients for a work outing, which made the situation even more embarrassing and frustrating. It took an hour and 45 minutes to receive our food, and 45 minutes just to get drinks—and that was only after tracking down our server 2–3 times like we were on some kind of scavenger hunt. At one point, we weren’t sure if we were at a restaurant or participating in a patience endurance test. To make matters worse, we were charged nearly $200 for food we never received. We brought it to the waitress’s attention, and she said she’d fix it—but apparently that fix got lost somewhere between the kitchen and whatever black hole our drinks disappeared into earlier. Despite all of this, we still left a $25 tip, which was honestly more generous than the service deserved. Apparently, even that wasn’t enough—because the manager or posing to be manager came out to confront us about the tip, which is wild considering we were the ones waiting nearly two hours and paying for food that never showed up. The situation somehow got even worse when we were told to leave and not come back, with staff actually yelling at us on the way out. Nothing says “Good Vibes” like getting escorted out after being overcharged and ignored. The only bright spot was that two employees actually seemed to care—they were the only ones who lived up to the name of the restaurant. Everyone else? Definitely operating on “bad vibes only.” As we were leaving, two other tables (not with our group) also said it was the worst service they’d ever had, so it clearly wasn’t just us. This is especially disappointing because my family and I are regulars here. Unfortunately, after this experience—especially bringing clients into it—we won’t be returning. If you’re looking for good vibes, I’d recommend looking somewhere else—because this place has officially rebranded itself in our book.

Would give zero stars if possible. Came in with a group of 6 on a Wednesday night (the night I’m writing this review). From the beginning, we received awful service. Not a crowded night by any stretch. Drinks took forever to get, as did the food. Most of what we did order was messed up in one way or another. One person in our party didn’t even receive his food until we were about ready to leave after being there for over 2 hours. Our waitress was very inattentive. Any time we asked for updates on our orders, we were told it would be out in 5 minutes, and then she was nowhere to be found until 20 minutes later. When we asked for our check, there were several mistakes. When we pointed them out and refused to pay for the errors on our check, the manager became very confrontational and was incredibly rude. We were then ganged up on by the manager and multiple wait staff accusing us of trying to skip out on our check. When we remained firm that we would not pay for the mistakes on the check we were told about how we were rude to the entire staff and told to never come back. As we were walking back to our cars, one of the waitresses came out the front entrance and cursed at us until we left because we didn’t give a good tip. They’re lucky we left a tip at all. The manager at the bar was very polite and apologized on behalf of the manager and waitstaff as we were getting cursed out by the server. Will never eat here ever again and if you’re reading this review, you shouldn’t either.

Terrible service. Waited almost two hours for the food to be brought out. Only received one drink- no refill, even though I asked numerous times. Waitstaff is very rude and management wasn’t any better. Half of my order didn’t show up to the table, tried to charge me for it. Management was very controversial, getting in our faces when he didn’t agree with our complaints of the service. Management and waitstaff were cussing at us as we were leaving. Very unprofessional. If I could give a negative star I would. Been here numerous times, but will not be returning in the future.

Food good, service bad. I’m not one to get on and do these, but service was really poor. Showed up and ordered food and drinks within a reasonable time. Food came out over an hour after we order (restaurant not busy, server said food would be out in 5mins after waiting 40+ mins). One persons food didn’t show up with everyone else’s. They waited an additional 30+ mins without getting it so they asked for the order to be cancelled. Manager said he’d comp the meal. That person’s food ended up arriving after most of the other party members were done. Bill came and had multiple orders and drinks added. Food that was not order, was not delivered to the table and asked to be removed from the bill. Server removed the extra items. Manager came out afterwards accusing the party of not paying for food/drinks consumed. Payment was given for the food consumed, including the incorrect food that wasn’t ordered. Let me tell you, I’m about as agnostic of a reviewer on this whole ordeal because I was not drinking, and I wasn’t the one paying for the bill. I slammed one Coke Zero and never got a refill. :-( Not a good experience and I won’t be taking myself, family or others back, and won’t be recommending to anyone when asked. The other party sitting next to us experienced the same poor service and validated our experience on our way to their vehicles and said they won’t be coming back either.

My wife and I came by at at 2:30pm so we just missed the lunch specials which ended up being a blessing. This was our very first time eating here and I have to say I was pleasantly impressed. We had the Trio Fajitas for two and they were absolutely amazing. The Charro beans were some.of the best I've ever had. Im not a bean lover at all and these were so good. The shrimp, steak and chicken were all very good. There's isnt anything I can say that we had that we didn't like. Their twist on the mojito is really good as well. I service was outstanding to top it off. I can't say enough good things about this place. We've found our new go to for fajitas. Thanks Cool Vibes! Keep up the good work!

The food was sub par and everything was super spicy. Like inedible spicy. The waiter was odd.. tried to be funny but he was actually offensive. To top it off it was beyond freezing in there. Like miserable shaking cold. It was just an all around weird experience and not worth the money. It was really cute and had a good atheistic vibe. Unfortunately, the food, service, and temperature made it a very unpleasant experience though.

We visited on a Saturday night and, thanks to making a reservation ahead of time, walked right in to a prime seat on the outdoor patio. The food was nothing short of fantastic. Each of us ordered something different, which enabled us to sample bites from each other's plates and everything was delicious! Good Vibes Coastal Cantina hits the mark with its welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and delicious food. We will be back!

Super cute place! Love the “vibe”. We had a great girls night out, and the margaritas were on point. Their chips were good and so were the tacos! My only complaint was they did not state that the side of elote was on the cob. Kinda bummed when it came out. Also, all of the staff seemed super new and unsure of the menu. But all in all, everything was great!!

Good Vibes is fabulous. Fantastic food and service. It's not your typical tex-mex restaurant. Everything made from scratch. Try this place, you will love it. I also love the fact their to-go containers are plastic and recyclable compared to the nasty styro-foam containers you get from other restaurants.

We finally took the time to try Good Vibes Coastal Cantina! We love their location in Pearland, but thrilled that we have a location closer to home. The chef mex menu is a good one, but we specifically came to try out their happy hour. Oh. My. Gosh. We had their Holy Guacamole, Elote, Birra Tacos, Small Pot Tamales, Jalapeño Mac & Cheese, house and skinny margaritas, and Vibin’ Old Fashioned. Everything was SO good!! We can’t wait to come back and try more menu items. AND they are BAHFL members! Thank you, Dani, for your fantastic bar service! You were a sweetheart and so helpful!

This place is an absolute home run, out of the park, can't miss, top notch, can't miss place to eat. A friend recommended it... and they smashed it. Atticus was an amazing server. That dude pushed all the right buttons. The food was amazing. The vibe is great. The drinks were special. We will be entering their door frequently. A freaking +++.

Last night was our first experience at this restaurant. We went to celebrate our friend’s birthday. Our waitress was outstanding! Ashley took great care of us. The food was delicious and I loved the drinks! It was raining when we arrived but we will definitely go back and check out the patio. It looks really cute and fun!
