This review is based solely on the service I received. I felt very disappointed with the experience. We had a reservation for 8pm, we had a party of 10 people. We had a small baby and an elderly woman as well as a handicapped person in our party. We waited over 40 minutes to get seated for our reservation. We watched several parties get seated before I had to ask the hostess in the front how much longer the wait would be, they said they were waiting on a hostess to come up and seat us. The second hostess comes up, we wait another 5 minutes just staring at her to come seat us. We ask when will we be sat since the second hostess we were waiting for was now here, they said oh they’re waiting for the table to be cleaned then they’ll take us. Another 10 minutes goes by, I ask how much longer. They then say we’re waiting for ANOTHER table to get cleaned up. At this point it’s been 3 different excuses as to why they haven’t sat us.My grandmother has osteoporosis and cannot stand for long periods of time, we weren’t offered a seat for her or anything. I then ask for the manager, a younger man white man w spiked hair comes up and I ask him to please be transparent with a wait time, he says oh did you have a reservation? I say yes? He says ok don’t worry we’ll get you sat: mind you, at this point it feels as if they don’t want to serve us. We have seen several parties be sat, a few people even finished their meal and have left at this point. We came all the way from Houston so we obviously were going to leave hungry either way if we left, we had an hour drive back home. We decided to wait it out 5 more minutes. I ask another hostess for an update that we’ve been waiting almost an hour and she says, excuse me but it’s only been 38 minutes past your reservation time lol. We had been standing around since 7:55, our reservation was at 8. As if is standing for 38 min vs an hour was okay. They managed to squeeze us into a table on the patio but at that point we were starving and weren’t going to complain about the tight space. The older manager w shorter hair tried very hard to make our experience better by comping appetizers but the way we were treated just didn’t make up for it. Food was excellent but we were treated horribly with a reservation mind you. We received our entrees at 9:20 with a 8pm reservation. I suggest you don’t show up hungry.

Really hard to provide Pier 6 with a 4 or 5 star review given two breakdowns. Let's start with the good: a really creative and unique menu. All but one dish was perfectly prepared. Flavors were balanced and robust. Service had plenty of hospitality. Location is great. Thus, their pricing is justified. The website may confuse as there are multiple menus for lunch, dinner and weekend, yet, we did not see any difference in the offerings or price. The surprising disappointments began with barmaid/wait person. Her name begins with a T. She was friendly and attentive, yet, not really engaged with her tables, just the bar. When she asked if everything was fine, did we want anything else or just the check? My response went something like this - The food was really good and fairly unique. Unfortunately, the calamari appeared to be a mixed batch. Either old was mixed with fresh or some pieces, at least 2 that I ate were tough, hard rubber, uneatable. Likely, over-cooked, She apologized for it. Subsequently, my guest spoke up saying that he, too, had had a couple of servings with the same issue which really detracted from it. Again, she smiled and apologized. Brought the check. When at least 4 servings are off, when multiple customers inform the staff that the order was not good (in this case clearly not up to standard), the order is removed, credited. If she lacked the authority to address the concern, she should bring it to her manager's attention, not ignore as management likely wants to make it right. Know such is the difference in a happy customer. A returning customer. A reference customer. A 5 star review. She could not have cared less given the repeated ignoring of the issue and proper protocol. Ignorance is bliss when there are no consequences. She likely has not thought about the issue to date, will likely continue the behavior if she and management remain unaware of the review or do not care.

We wanted to get a window close to the pier to see the boats... We were told know there were none available... There was actually three... We asked if we could substitute couple sides even downgrading our sides to something else.. we were told no... We did not get silverware until I asked for it.. I had to go to the bar and ask somebody for sugar substitute... Wrong sides were brought out... The food was good and the portions were average... I think if it wasn't for the food and the chefs being very good.... The place would fail quickly... It is over managed and underserviced... With decent chefs.. will I return one day yes.. however it will not be a regular spot to hit...

Met family for spontaneous dinner. I had never been to Pier 6. I was taken away by the views and atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the food amazing. Afterwards we sat in the outdoor area and it was a so relaxing and enjoyed the boats coming in and out. Highly recommend. I will definitely be back.

I think it's sad you can't fish on the dirt and rocks not even close to the pier....no fishing sign needs to be more clear on the rules!

We love this place so much. The food is always amazing and such a nice atmosphere on the water. A perfect place for a lazy Sunday brunch or even a nice dinner. Service is always great and they always take good care of us.

Cozy place, fantastic food, awesome service! I love their fresh oyster! Melts in your mouth. Crab cake had a lot of real crab meat, not flour or any extender. Seafood fondue is also to die for 😋

This place was fantastic and so much more than we expected! The food was top notch, and the patio(huge, by the way) was a great addition, especially right on the water. It felt like a higher end place, but still maintained a more casual vibe. The service was also one of the key parts! The wait staff really made the experience that much better. And personally, I felt the prices were more than reasonable for all of it. We will absolutely be back!

I can’t express how amazing this place is! From service to food to atmosphere, everything is 10/10 at Pier 6. Special thanks to our server Darla who was attentive, gave great recommendations & kept the positive vibe going. The prices are great for the incredible view & environment you get to be in & the food is absolutely delicious. The drinks are also very reasonably priced & are made very well! I came here twice in the past week because I couldn’t get enough.

We’ve been to Pier 6 many times but last Friday was my favorite experience. I am allergic to seafood so there are minimal items on the menu for me to choose. I usually have the most incredible cheeseburger there, or I’ll have chicken tenders. Last Friday our awesome waiter asked the chef if he could make me grilled chicken breast, veggies, and pasta. Chef made it and blew my mind! WOW! I now have my perfect dish I’ll be having every time! I’m already looking forward to going back. Of course the Ocean Water is also calling my name! Side note: they have incredible seafood dishes! I don’t know personally but everyone we have gone with is always happy! I’ve not hear anyone complain… ever.
